Class Rules & Guidelines
Each class is a safe space for the creative process. Students must speak to others about their ideas in a positive, constructive way. Scott retains the right to remove students he feels do not uphold the standard of respect and kindness towards all.
Each person’s movie idea is their own. If you offer or “pitch” an idea to your classmates, it is up to them to decide if they will utilize it. If they take your thought and incorporate it into their film, that does not mean you retain any ownership over the idea or their film. You give thoughts and “pitches'' willingly with the understanding that they may become part of the film someone else is developing. The same goes for your film. No one has the right to take your idea or ask for credit for any idea they give you. Each writer’s movie is their own and will remain as such.
